The first smiles

Katelyn started smiling last week and it was all I could do to get her to smile in front of the camera - clearly not an issue with Kelsey. But I was able to catch a few.



And my favorite

"I need shoes..."

Well, naturally who doesn't. Everyone knows shoes are a girl's best friend - and Kelsey's no different. I found her in my closet trying on my shoes and with each pair she said, "I need shoes." Apparently the 10 pairs she has just aren't enough.

Doctor in training

Katelyn had her one month check-up today and am glad to report all is going well and she is growing just fine. She is 21 1/2" long and 9 1/2 pounds. For now, looks like she will surpass her older sister in height. But that's a long way off. And as you can see, Kelsey got her own pair of gloves from the doctor and she has already checked out Katelyn and gave her a clean bill of health!
